Hi, all!

Wow, I can't believe it's been more than a year since I last updated! A LOT has happened during this time - I graduated, got my first job, finished a year there and have just joined another one. It's a lot of fun, but it keeps me VERY busy. BUT I really want to start posting here again. I've had a lot of ideas for new stuff in this past year, and I'm going to try my best to post here regularly. I missed it way too much.

Now, enough about me. Here are two sets of textures for you. The first is a set of 10 icon-sized textures, aptly called 'Shades of Blue'.

The second set - well, it's a stretch to call it a "set", there are only two of them - consists of a couple of ocean-inspired textures. I took some pictures of the sea the other day, and this is the result of playing around with them. They're 1024 x 768 pixels, and hopefully you'll get some good use out of them, for wallpapers or anything else you want to create!

Hey, you guys... :)

I know it's been a really long time since I updated, and I really want to! I've been on vacation for the past two months...just been plain lazy more than anything else. :) And I got a new job, so I'm going to be starting that next month!

BUT this doesn't mean that I'm abandoning Starlit Designs. There will be more updates, so bear with me, okay?

My college has started up again, but that isn't why I haven't been updating. I lost Photoshop. :( It suddenly stopped working. I almost died. Anyway, hopefully, I should get my hands on it soon. It's been a rough couple of weeks without it. :P

I've had a lot of ideas for brushes, textures and icons (what with Halloween coming up) and it annoyed me no end that I didn't have the time to carry them out.

Anyway, we're back in business now, so expect a lot of stuff soon! :)

I had myself a free Sunday evening, so I decided to write a tutorial. :) This one teaches you how to get a nice golden glow for all your 'people' icons, and sharpens them up, too. :)
